Dr. Jekeva Moss, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, DipACLM is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to compassionate, whole-person mental health care. She earned her doctoral and graduate nursing degrees from Jacksonville University and her undergraduate nursing degree from the University of North Florida. Dr. Moss began her healthcare career while serving in the U.S. Army and later worked as a school nurse and inpatient psychiatric nurse before completing her advanced training. With over seven years of experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, Dr. Moss is known for providing patient-centered care that meets people where they are. She is also certified by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM) and incorporates lifestyle-based approaches—such as nutrition, sleep, movement, stress management, reducing harmful substance use, and social connection—alongside and medication to support mental health and overall wellbeing. Dr. Moss is passionate about reducing stigma, educating, expanding access to care for everyone she meets. Her DNP scholarly project, a faith-based mental health intervention, received the Dr. Francis Bartlett Kinne Director’s Award in recognition of its significant impact on the community. She is committed to promoting healing, resilience, and hope.
