Dr. Dana Barnes, MD

Barnes is a Board Certified Family Physician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She was born in Jacksonville, graduated from the University of North Florida, and completed her Medical Doctorate degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Barnes was awarded an added certificate from the American Academy of HIV Medicine as an HIV Specialist in 2012. She provides full spectrum family care including chronic disease management, HIV care, PrEP, hepatitis management, wellness visits, and preventative healthcare. Dr. Barnes has spent time volunteering in Peru and Haiti, has served on the Florida Council of Licensed Midwifery and on the Jacksonville HIV Planning Council. Dr. Barnes loves dogs and enjoys biking, hiking and sewing.
