Carmen Whistler, LCSW

Carmen Whistler is a trauma-informed Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to strengths-focused healing through mindfulness and connection. She began her career as an advocate with Waikiki Health Center’s street medicine and outreach team. Carmen later returned to her home state to earn her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of South Carolina. She gained additional experience in trauma-informed care as an intern supporting veterans’ mental health through the VA Outpatient program in Columbia, SC, and in working with underserved populations in ex-offender re-entry and homeless services in Jacksonville. Carmen is committed to collaborative, client-centered healing and feels privileged to continue serving the Jacksonville community.
